Heavy Rotation: Ty says: I’m not bringing sexyback…’
Heeeyyyyy… we took the quote straight from UK MC Ty’s single, EMOTIONS (feat. Shaun Escoffery and Sarina Leah).
We can tell you that he should definitely win the ‘Greatest Number of Distinctive Glasses Ever Worn In A Music Video By One Person, EVER’ award! Watch the video EMOTIONS (feat. Shaun Escoffery and Sarina Leah), below, to see what we mean. It’s a catchy song and a fun video. And once you get over that, listen again to the lyrics. We love them.
The single is off Ty’s long awaited album, ‘Special Kind of Fool’, which is out this month.
We counted FIVE pairs worn by Ty in the 4 minute and 26 second video. We did the math — that’s is more than one pair a minute. You’re welcome!:

Wunmi and HfH Team Up!
Home, From Home and music promoter, Live Music Band have joined forces for the West Coast tour for Wunmi, the Queen of Afrofusion!
After two successful months producing her second album in Ghana, she kicks off her West Coast Tour to say ‘thank you’ to some of her fans, for helping her make her dream of producing an album in Africa a reality, by donating funds via the social media site, Kickstarter.com
This album is just the latest chapter of Wunmi’s incredible musical journey, which started after the funk, soul and jazz legend, Roy Ayers encouraged her talent. You can listen to Wunmi and her ‘Uncle Roy’ talk to Christabel Nsiah-Buadi exclusively, about their close relationship again HERE.
This album is special because it’s a testament to her international fan base. Galvanised by the success of her first album, Wunmi – an independent artist – decided she wanted to produce her ‘dream’ album in Africa. She said:
Africa is is a hotbed of creativity right now. There are so many artists from that continent that I love – and have always wanted to work with. I felt that if I went back home, to Africa, I would would find new, real inspiration.
With that, she lay out her vision on the social media site, Kickstarter.com in late 2009. Within days her fans were donating funds and spreading the word. By early February 2010, Wunmi was in Ghana making her second album!
And in May, she’ll be BACK in the US, with her three piece band, featuring band leader Jeremy Mage, (Keyboards/background vocals), Abou Diarrasouba (drums/background vocals) and Damon Aaron (bass guitar/ /electronics / background Vocals).
They’ll play new, never heard before tracks and old classics, Maybe you’ll get to hear this?!:
